As a central feature of a building's aesthetic—and perhaps of the owner's commitment to environmental stewardship—mass timber is notable and noticeable, and is actively challenging traditional building methods. Working with governmental agencies to build new facilities requires a partner that is invested in the outcome. Adding 220,000 SF and 48 new inpatient rooms, the new facility will allow patients access to more than 325 innovative clinical trials and four new state-of-the-art operating rooms will provide more sophisticated cancer surgeries.
