Carmichael, California (July 10, 2024) – A groundbreaking ceremony for the advanced biplane and suite renovation project at Mercy San Juan Medical Center took place on July 10.

The project involves the installation of a licensable second biplane (Class 3 imaging room and equipment installation) and the renovation of the radiology department, adjacent to the existing MRI suite and nuclear medicine department on the ground floor. Additionally, it marks another collaboration with Mercy San Juan Medical Center, a repeat client who continues to place their trust in Layton Construction’s expertise and dedication.

“Our team is dedicated to delivering medical facilities that will significantly enhance patient care. Our strong partnership with Mercy San Juan Medical Center and our commitment to advancing healthcare in the area ensures that this will provide solutions for years to come.” said Dane Petersen, project manager at Layton Construction.

With an estimated completion for summer 2025, these enhancements will support a wide range of medical specialties, increasing access to care and improving the health of the community.
