Nashville, TN (September 25, 2024) – Ray Nashville, a remarkable 32-story mixed-use tower is set to redefine urban living and commercial space in Music City. Located at the intersection of Lafayette Street and Ewing Avenue at 601 Lafayette Street, this project will transform a former parking lot into Nashville’s newest gem.
Spanning 32 stories, Ray Nashville will feature 367 luxury residential units and 4,795 square feet of prime retail space at street level. Residents will enjoy a wealth of amenities, including a scenic pool deck, lounge, and a dedicated dog run for pet owners. The tower will also feature co-working spaces and indoor and outdoor fitness areas. Residents will live within walking distance to Lower Broadway and major retail in The Gulch. The building will also include public and private parking with a five-level underground parking garage.
“Ray Nashville is the first of its kind in pie town. It stands as a transformational project that continues to show the growth of Nashville for those living here and working here. The scale of this type of project is a standout for Layton not only for its nature of scope but for the local workforce we continue to partner with. At peak manpower times, we’ll have approximately 300 people on site in a given day. Our impact to the community is one of the core drivers in our pursuit to continue making a mark in the city” said Brooks Rutledge, VP of Layton Construction.
The building draws inspiration from the broad blue skies and the evolving landscape of the city. Units will be equipped with premier quality cabinetry, modern fixtures and appliances, integrated balconies, ample storage, and built-in furniture in select apartments.
The Ray is more than just a building; it’s a cornerstone of the new frontier in downtown Nashville’s growth. As one of the first high-rises in this developing district, it marks the beginning of even more exciting projects to come. With our office less than a mile away, we’re proud to be at the forefront of changing the skyline and shaping the future of this community” said John Thomas, Construction Manager of Layton Construction.
Construction of Ray Nashville is underway with completion anticipated for 2027.
