Project Lagerhaus

Project Lagerhaus is a distribution facility for a world-renowned beverage company spanning 67.5 acres with room for future growth. With its can manufacturing facility nearby in Goodyear, the facility serves as an expansion where cans are filled. The facility boasts a 40-foot clear height, a fully air-conditioned warehouse, and 60,000 SF of Class A office space. It features spectacular amenities such as a full-size basketball court, spacious locker and shower rooms, state-of-the-art gym, break-out work areas, and a full-size model airplane suspended from the roof structure in the main lobby!

Another unique feature is the 200-foot bridge component that links the adjacent beverage filling station to Lagerhaus. The bridge was a late addition to the project and required re-design and adjustments of the sequencing. The bridge conveys a full pallet (3,456 cans) every 12 seconds that are then relocated via autonomous guided forklifts—automation at its best! For the mathematical folks, that’s just over a one million cans per hour.
