Built to exacting specifications, Layton delivered a state-of-the-art, LEED Gold university research facility with a lab, a 40,000 SF vivarium, clean rooms, optical imaging and nanofabrication unit with CT and MRI imaging, faculty offices, conference rooms, green roof, auditorium, and public spaces. The concrete structure was designed and built with stringent vibration performance criteria to minimize the effects of shaking upon the very sensitive equipment.
