Central Utah Correctional Facility

Leveraging a successful track record with this client, Layton completed this new facility consisting of a 192-bed housing unit addition, intake facility, and K-9 training/housing. The project also included perimeter security fencing, three internal exercise yards, detention housing addition/support building with a control center for all four pods, and a rear chase mechanical space behind cells. Cell construction consisted of welded two-inch Trusswall panels with Trussbilt security decking for the ceiling structure and horizontal sliding cell doors.
