From hotel to hospital.
Through an adaptive reuse, Layton converted an old hotel into an upgraded inpatient behavioral health hospital. The project team performed major upgrades to MEP systems and the exterior envelope, replaced windows, and added a new parking lot. Within, the four-level facility includes 116 adult inpatient psychiatric beds, a new entrance and admitting area, a secure adolescent unit, dining and group areas, and outpatient support space.
