Southern Hills Hospital and Medical Center

As a ground-up addition to the busy campus, and meeting a critical need in the community, the 80-bed behavioral health facility ties into the main building and is equipped to treat patients of all ages. It includes 80 beds (40 adult, 20 adolescent, and 20 geriatric), advanced patient tracking and safety systems, and outdoor recreation areas providing enhanced opportunities to receive therapy in a comforting outdoor environment. Layton worked closely with the design team to develop a facility that could be built in 11 months, incorporating several prefabricated components.
