Maple Street Correctional Center

Layton demonstrated exceptional craftsmanship to complete this LEED Gold correctional center. From the caulking to the tight tolerances, close attention to detail was critical to reduce the potential contraband concealment. The project included remediation of a brownfield site, demolition of existing structures, and the development of an 832-bed jail complex that features support spaces, video visitation area, laundry, locker rooms, staff dining with outside eating, loading docks, and transitional housing.
