Irvine, California (April 20, 2026) — Southern California development is accelerating ahead of the 2028 Summer Olympics, with construction spending projected to exceed $30 billion in 2026. Layton Construction is deepening its leadership in the region to meet the moment.

Jason Mosier has joined Layton as Executive Vice President. He brings more than 25 years of experience in the construction industry—largely in Southern California—driving strategic growth, leading high-performing teams, and building lasting client relationships. Mosier has a proven track record of expanding market presence and guiding the successful delivery of complex, high-impact projects in highly competitive environments.

Most recently, Mosier served as Executive Vice President and Chief Commercial Officer at MATT Construction, where he was a key leader for notable projects such as OC Vibe, Echelon Studios, and Barrington Plaza, while strengthening client partnerships and advancing strategic growth initiatives.

“Jason has built a reputation for reliability and solution-oriented collaboration” said Levi Clegg, Chief Operating Officer at Layton. “That’s exactly what the California market demands right now.”

Mosier will partner with Tyler Dillon, Executive Vice President of Operations, to strengthen client relationships, identify new opportunities, and expand Layton’s presence across California.

“I’m excited to partner with this team to keep building on our momentum—delivering meaningful results and long-term value for our clients,” said Mosier.
