Syringa Hall at Boise State University is the first new on-campus housing built since 2017, comprising 450 beds, six floors, and a direct connection to the Boise River Greenbelt. Evan Danforth RA, Executive Director of Architectural and Engineering Services at BSU, shares what it took to get here: trust built over time and a laser focus on making a lasting impact for students and campus life.
Research shows first-year students do better when they live on campus. Syringa Hall gives more of them a chance to succeed with access to study lounges, common areas, and a design that prioritizes safety while connecting students to Boise’s outdoors.
Hats off to Hummel Architects PLLC on a great design and to Boise State University for being a great partner.
