After nearly 30 years playing downtown, Utah Baseball finally has a place of their own on campus: Charlie Monfort Field at America First Ballpark. Head coach Gary Henderson said it best: “It gives our kids a home, a sense of belonging, a sense of purpose.”

The facility sits at the highest point on campus, with views as impressive as the rest: a FieldTurf playing surface, seating for 1,200, plus an outfield berm. Inside? Locker rooms, a weight room, sports medicine suite, indoor hitting tunnels, and a pitching lab brings everything the program needs, finally under one roof.

This one took the entire bench. Hats off to University of Utah, Utah Athletics, VCBO Architecture , Populous, and Salt Lake City for all pulling in the same direction to get this done. We were glad to bring it home.

First home game is March 6. Play ball!
