Macy’s Fulfillment Center

On a 72-acre site, the Macy's Fulfillment Center is an automated, direct-to-consumer warehouse and distribution center. The tilt facility features a 1.3 million SF pad with an 800,000 SF mezzanine and 50,000 SF of office space spread across two levels, with a clear height of 36 feet throughout. Over the course of a year, a greenfield site with geological challenges was transformed into a bustling distribution center. Construction took place during one of Oklahoma's wettest years on record, necessitating daily changes to project sequences to accommodate weather conditions.
