Layton completed this facility with the latest equipment to enhance patient care. The ground-up, acute care hospital's MRI machine was a first for the state of Tennessee, producing significantly less noise than its predecessors. The facility itself—with both inpatient and outpatient care—features a full-service emergency department with 10 emergency exam rooms, a full lab and physical therapy space, chest pain center, and physician office space. Additionally, it offers 10 large, private inpatient rooms, all with mountain views and convertible furniture to accommodate visitors.
