Lowe’s

With 94,000 SF of retail and a 27,000 SF garden center, the Lowe's project site was previously a landfill and dumping area, which caused significant issues with the soil composition. Prior to construction, the project team removed 15 feet of trash, disposed of it off site, and filled the hole with imported dirt. They installed a methane mitigation system beneath the entire building slab, complete with piping and vapor barrier grid system to tie into the main lead, preventing any residual methane from the site to filter through the building.
