On a sprawling 30-acre site, with just nine months on the clock and two hurricanes on the horizon, Layton faced a formidable challenge on this freestanding emergency department. From the start, we embraced complexity—building new trade partnerships, working around weather disruptions, and adapting to highway entrance delays and prolonged generator power for MEP systems. At closeout, not only did we deliver on time, we did so with a rare achievement: a zero-comment AHCA state inspection.
