Bishops' Central Storehouse | Cold Storage

Built on 36 acres, the Bishops' Central Storehouse is a welfare facility complex designed to aid in disaster response and withstand a 7.0 earthquake. The storehouse has a capacity of 65,000 pallets of food and supplies and includes an office, a transportation maintenance facility, a tire storage facility, and a fire pump house. The storehouse consists of bulk and rack storage areas with 63,000 SF of freezer/cooler/cold dock space, which includes an ammonia-based refrigeration system with freezer temperatures as low as -100°F.
