Rohnert Park, CA (April 1, 2025) – A ribbon cutting ceremony marked the completion of Sutter Health’s newest medical office building in Rohnert Park, bringing together the entire project team: Layton Construction, Sutter Health, design-build partners Boulder Associates, Air Systems Service and Construction, and Blakeslee Electric. Expanding healthcare access for southern Sonoma County residents, the 17,000-square-foot facility offers comprehensive medical services including primary, specialty, and urgent care. The new center reduces wait times, increases appointment availability, and enhances coordination between specialties.

With a modern, patient-centric design, the new facility enhances convenience and efficiency, allowing patients to receive comprehensive medical services closer to home. The center consists of 24 exam rooms —16 dedicated to primary care and eight for urgent care —along with on-site laboratory services for blood draws and comprehensive diagnostic imaging capabilities including X-Ray, CT, and ultrasound. The design also accommodates future expansion into adjacent vacant suites on both the first and second floors.

Along with offering essential healthcare services, the building features patient-focused amenities designed to improve the overall healthcare experience. These include comfortable waiting rooms, convenient check-in systems, and a calming atmosphere that reduces stress and promotes healing.

“We’re honored to be part of a project that will make such a positive impact in this community,” said Paul Fernandes, Construction Manager at Layton. “Building healthcare facilities that will directly improve the lives of patients and their families is always a rewarding experience.”
