Mary Bridge Children's Hospital

To better serve children’s medical needs, Layton was hired to build a dedicated hospital focusing solely on pediatric care. The facility will provide 82 private patient rooms with shelled space for future needs, 10 operating rooms, a pediatric intensive care unit, and a hybrid interventional cardiology and radiology suite. The radiology suite provides a dedicated MRI, CT, ultrasound, imaging, state-of-the-art infusion center, endoscopy, lab, and pharmacy services. The pediatric emergency department will have 38 treatment rooms and a pediatric mental health crisis stabilization unit.

Slated to be complete in 2025, Layton has worked closely with partners, key stakeholders, providers, and staff to ensure project goals are realized in the most efficient way, focusing heavily on Lean design and an Integrated Project Delivery approach. The facility will incorporate recent technology such as artificial intelligence, wayfinding, wireless internet, smart rooms, and a digital check-in.
