Guthrie Troy Community Hospital

The Layton team worked early on in design to analyze cost and construction feasibility on this critical access hospital, ensuring essential services to the rural community. In all, Layton completed a 25-room inpatient hospital (each with its own bathroom), 10-bed expansion wing, larger emergency department and operating suite, and an outpatient clinic building—with room for expansion. Warm and welcoming, the hospital's design incorporates soothing colors, provides a lodge-like feel in the lobby, and takes advantage of the surrounding area's natural beauty.
