Setting the new standard for animal care and control, Maricopa’s state-of-the-art facility boasts innovative features inside and out to improve conditions for both pets and prospective adopters. With capacity for 450 animals—complete with 322 dog runs and 128 kennels—the expansive space offers 82,000 of covered/exterior space and 51,400 SF of interior conditioned space. The facility’s exterior includes an agility yard and two play yards (all with fans), three guest play yards with canopies, and two splash pools. A key feature, however, is the dogs runs throughout.
