Loxahatchee, FL (June 11, 2025) – Layton Construction, alongside HCA Florida Healthcare, broke ground on the patient tower expansion at HCA Florida Palms West Hospital—representing a significant investment and the “next generation” of healthcare in Palm Beach County. It will offer enhanced access, upgraded services, and a more connected, patient-centered experience.
The new tower includes 42 med/surg patient beds, a new main entrance, registration and admitting area, gift shop, coffee shop, expanded cafeteria, community education space, classrooms, and upgraded materials management. Additionally, future planned improvements to the cath lab and emergency department will help the hospital meet growing demand for patients.
“We’re excited to be part of such an important project for HCA Florida Healthcare and the surrounding community. Florida continues to be a growing market for Layton, and we’re proud to bring our healthcare construction expertise to this expansion. We’re here because our teams continue to deliver consistent, reliable outcomes for our clients, and that trust has opened the doors to projects like this,” said Andy Jodway, Vice President at Layton.
