Phoenix, AZ (December 23, 2024) – A significant construction milestone was celebrated as the final beam was placed atop the new dual-branded AC Hotel by Marriott and Element by Westin at Norterra. Project stakeholders, including ownership, architects, and construction team members, gathered for a traditional topping-out ceremony to mark this step in the journey toward the project’s schedule completion in late 2025.

The dual-branded property will include 274 upscale guest rooms to Phoenix’s thriving hospitality market, with 179 rooms in the AC Hotel by Marriott and 95 rooms in the Element by Westin. Designed with distinct audiences in mind, the AC Hotel will feature sophisticated European-inspired design paired with sleek modern touches, while the Element will cater to extended-stay travelers—offering spacious, comfortable accommodations tailored to longer visits.
