Kane County Public Safety Building

Leading an integrated, collaborative team, Layton constructed this two-story, 192-bed correctional facility comprising internal, multi-jurisdictional law enforcement agencies, administration, and training offices. The facility also serves as the 911 dispatch center for Kane County, part of Coconino County (AZ), the Kaibab Tribe, and federal and state parks. It also acts as a Utah Highway Patrol substation. Layton selected several design-assist trade partners during preconstruction which lead to substantial cost savings.
