Project Sol Robotic Fulfillment Center

Working with a repeat client, Layton completed this massive facility on a fast-track schedule—which at project end became the fastest-built robotic fulfillment facility in the company’s network. The build-to-suit facility serves as a four-level automated distribution warehouse with four mezzanines within and office space. These added structures bring the total available floor space to 2.3 million SF, complete with numerous bays for trailer parking and space for racking and material handling equipment. The structure consist of steel joists and metal roof deck, with seven-inch-thick concrete slab throughout.
