ICU Medical Non-Clave Molding Complex
This project was an interior remodel of an existing warehouse. The project scope included the converting of 35,000 square feet of an existing warehouse into an ISO 8 class cleanroom facility where medical devices are manufactured through a molding process. Layton was required to install a structural steel mezzanine where the raw molding material will be handled and prepped for use in the cleanroom area below.

The project entailed structural modifications to the existing building, light demolition, footing and slab replacement/modifications, steel erection, one elevator, two egress stairs, two new chillers, two rooftop cooling towers, six new air handlers, one new boiler, air lock access points, one lab, two gowning areas, one maintenance shop, light office space, tool storage area, an equipment room, 25,000 SF cleanroom manufacturing area, and a raw material prep area.
