This aggressive build out contract was completed in 85 days, made possible by Layton Construction committing two crews running day and night. This TI combines the elegance and comfort of a new Stratocaster guitar with the professional environment you would expect from a world-class, international business. The space was formerly used as a bank's headquarters, and Layton executed the designer's dream of turning the space into something that most resembles a rock 'n' roll museum.
Project highlights include the "Kaboom Room", a 100 SF block structure, constructed outside the building to test amplifiers to the point of failure. Interior sound rooms have accoustically-designed partitions, ceilings, floor and wall finishes to reduce sound transmission to the other parts of the building. Earlier tenant improvement elements were re-used to make this a sustainable building project.
